As of this writing, it has been 410 days – about 13-1/2 months – since we lost, from this life and this age, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and follower of Jesus: Seth Matthew Michaels

There are still no words to describe this loss – we don’t believe there ever will be.  But there are things that we do have, and things that we can share, about our Seth.  And that is why this website is here:  Both so that we can share, and so that you and any and all others who come across these pages can read about, see, remember, and know, our Seth.

The site is about as simple as it gets for the internet – we have a few pages that we have set up to dedicate to photos of Seth, videos of Seth, and Seth’s artwork, which we will begin/add to over time; the main page here where we will make posts about and remembrances of Seth; and a link to On The Street – which, when activated, will be the place where we will give updates on and encourage people to give and get involved in the cause that Seth cared about the most – loving others by unconditionally giving to and helping them when they had a need – any need at all, no questions asked.  For those who have already given or become involved – thank you once again; we’ll share with the world how you have helped, in more detail, when On The Street goes live.

We will add to and update content on Seth’s site here from time to time.  As time goes on we may also add other pages or tweak some things, but for the most part, what you see here is how this space will be present on the web both now and in the future, until the web and all the “stuff” of this present life and this present age pass away, and we see Seth fully, face to face, once more.

We begin by posting the slide show video that L made that was played during Seth’s visitation.  Thank you for coming by and taking a look around Seth’s site, and we hope you’ll visit here as often as you like and as often as you may think of Seth and want to help remember him, or whenever we put up new content.

Please feel free to leave comments on our posts or on our pages (all comments are of course moderated for spam, etc, so please know that there will be a delay between when you comment and when the comment is posted/made live on the site). To leave a comment on this post, please click here.

We love you, Seth, and we miss you beyond what can be described.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26, NRSV).

Love,

The Michaels Family
